Our Mission At CCBA
Our mission at Caswell Cyrus Basketball Association (CCBA) is to offer basketball developmental opportunities, such as ball-handling, passing, shooting, footwork, triple threat positioning and conditioning to youths ages 8 through 16 years. CCBA will help develop and improve each individual child's basketball skills, while building confidence and teaching life skills such as respect, responsibility, leadership, good sportsmanship and team work. CCBA is determined to create the same level of competition for youths ages 8 through 16 and allow all boys to play basketball at different levels of competition, in accordance to their skills. We believe that by developing players for the future, and having them see the progress they have made throughout the season, will make them want to return to our program year after year.
CCBA strives to provide a safe and friendly environment. We are committed to reinforcing and enhancing a climate of mutual respect between everyone involved in the association. It is important that everyone involved in our organization follows fair play, Ontario basketball and CCBA rules. CCBA values the contributions of individuals throughout the organization and encourages open communication between all members. CCBA is an inclusive association and will foster a positive environment and not tolerate any form of discrimination whether it is discrimination against: heritage, race, belief, sexual preference, gender etc.
